9 Rules Announces February’s First “Ping:Homily” Winner
[tag]9Rules Network[/tag], a quality-conscious aggregation of blog authors, publishes a (now) monthy spiritual thought-provoker called Ping:Homilies in their Religion Community. Every month, they encourage writers to challenge themselves by creating a message on a spiritual topic. February was the first month this Ping was rolled out and has now closed with the announcement of the winner: Nathan Smith. Congrats, Nathan!
The event used to be weekly, but now it’s less frequent coming out only once a month. I think reeling back is a great idea. I’ve personally been trying to draft up something each week, but there’s just been too little time (or maybe too much on my plate). I think the idea of encouraging us to really think critically about God and how we can share His Love with others is totally awesome.
Also, in case you don’t know, Nathan is one of the founding members of the Christian Web standards-proponent group, [tag]Godbit[/tag]. Yes, I’ve written about the group in almost all my posts thus far, but I cannot get over how encouraging they have been. Plus, I want to make sure anybody who comes across this blog is given the opportunity to leave not just from a positive note, but to a positive note as well.
Blessings!
